how much does it cost? By the way why ford is saying it is sealed for life....I call 2 ford dealers and both gave me different answers. One said its sealed for life and the other one said every 200000Ks............confused

Both zf & ford are probably about right if you drive ya car like a b!tch but if you drive it hard or its modified the more the better. I changed mine at 30K and it was pretty bad.

If its under warranty stick with what ever ford recommend if not change to transmax z & you'll never go back.

re. cost, I just had mine done, cost $380. cars done 65k, I've only had it for 15k's so more for peace of mind.

Changed mine 3 times.Done 75000kms use transmax Z

buffa ya slapper whats transmax z worth for the job or whats a total cost to do ya service?

But you need 9 Litres of Transmax if u're taking off the pan/gasket/filter, 4 litres if its just interval service.

I use Penrite SIN ATF, exactly the same one used in Bimmers, I think it works what does everybody here think?

If u're taking off the pan/gasket/filter it will take about 5 to 5.5 litres

9 litres is when trans and convertor are empty

My BF did 120,000 km with transmax z no problems factory trans
