At least 2 of us on the Snowy cruise had to do that, me and another.Okay, heading out to Bunnings now to see what they have in the way of soft mesh incase we need it for locusts (but most accounts recently indicate it won't be needed - but at least the lead car should have it - rest can get shielded like Rudiger said ). Like I said, if we need it and I have enough, happy to share it around as well. Thanks Dags for the hint about using cable ties. I think I have some in the bottom of one of my tool boxes so will try to find them. Also, will bring along a good socket set - on the Christmas cruise, I think we were hard pressed to find one.I broke a foggie once from some stone flick, so will see Ford for a set of clip-on foggie covers (unless someone can advise where I can get better ones elsewhere). The above is all part of the adventuure. We do our best to look out for each other - don't worry about that - you'll be amongst mates. So, definitely not too late to book accomodation at either of the 2 Omeo motel/hotels mentioned in the first postif you have the time to spend on the cruise next weekend. Hope those half thinking of coming along decide to come - really, we only do 2 extended cruises a year and the other one (the Snowy Cruise in NSW) is double the distance and almost double the time away from home for us VICs - so c'mon post up and come along Edited 19/03/11 11:33 PM by EvilDaifu

I dont thin Aunger make them.I upgraded to the top RACV cover last year after I did my mods. I figured if I broke down on a cruise our up bush I didnt want it towed to some back yard bloke who would say "whats this for" and start undoing bolts.Rocky I thouyght the meet up was at 8am at Wallan?? Youll have some catching up to do if that's the case. Edited 20/03/11 02:37 AM by Rudiger

Ford had to ring around because seems like Melbourne has a shortage of them - Braeside was the only place I could find that had any. Genuine Ford part no. SX-15K233AA. They just clip on apparently - haven't fitted mine yet. But it's better than paying $300 to replace a cracked foggie - been there done that Okay, weather looks a little coolish but hoping the weather predictions are worth the electrons they were transmitted on as it shows hardly any chance of rain. And also, no need to worry about locust I think - according to the latest DPI map of locust swarms.
