Id be checking your flexplate also, ive had alot of problems with mine, the knock from the flexplate can sound deep because it echoes in the bellhousing. It will get progressively worse everytime you start it.

I found I could get mine to sound the worse by pulling the fuel pump relay and cranking it a couple of times.

I hope for your sake its the flexplate and not a rod.

Edit: you could try removing the torque converter bolt cover and see if u can move the flexplate a lil bit in comparison to the crank

I went underneath the car today and I could not here no noises coming from the bell housing region, but when I get to the block right near the cross member section I could hear an fill the vibrations coming through my screw driver as I put it to my ears,I will for sure go an get a second opinion, probably from brad at atomic, since he is close to me,il also go an see tony dominello an see what he thinks of it. I believe that there is a minor bend in rod number 3.

Well seems a few people now are popping and looking for upgrades. Ive put this offer to a few threads over past few days. I have an 07 ~25,000km's all up f6 tornado motor ill put for sale soon. will be bout 3500-4000 (no turbo). pm me if your interested.

More money *Beep*, when u going to run with your current set up down the qtr, u keep upgrading without any timelips. I would of liked to see what 350rwkw on dions dyno runs.

I'd like to see CV respond to this. It should only be a matter of time before they read this thread. What will the excuse be? I bet it'll be anything but their " $ 390 Xmas special custom tune". Nice Xmas they gave CCCC. This is really bad for their business and the right thing to do would be to rebuild his motor (if damaged) and retune accordingly free of charge. This would then show some members here that they stand behind their service. I mean it wasn't as if he kept driving without paying attention to what the car was doing, he took it straight back and they aknowledged that a tuning problem existed, otherwise they wouldn't have offered alternate tunes. I mean if it cost them 5k they can recover this in 10 or so Tunes, but if they don't offer him this I can guarantee they have already lost that amount in the lack of customers who will now not go to them once they have read this thread. If CV reads this, step up to the plate and help the poor guy out. You broke you fix! Fair is Fair.

xr6t_ute, I will take it to the track once its fixed. with 350rwkw I got my 11.76 with 2.1 60". there is a 10 in there with 350rwkw on his dyno. mind you that's through the converter 350rwkw.

I will be only selling the motor once I get a buyer. So should get a chance to take it to the track once before upgrading again.

spoolxr6, unfortunatlly, tuners will always find a way around fixing and paying for rebuilds. sucks balls. They ALWAYS cover their ass first before looking after clients. No matter who the shop is usually!

Yeah, if your flexplate bolts are coming loose, it will get worse every time you run the car usually.

Like rattler said, to test if its that, hold your foot firm on the brake while its in drive and slightly stall up the motor and if the rattle sound disappears under load, then its your flexplate. If that's the case, avoid driving it any more, get it towed to somewhere (or do it all yourself), but you don't want it to completely come off and start ruining/stripping other parts.
