So they must be positive that your flex plate has come loose. did you pull off the inspection cover and see if the plate moves ? You don't want to pull the box out for nothing.

To answer your question yes I have had the same experience when it came to tuning and my solution was to go to another tuner.

I just checked the flexplate an seems to be tight.

so, all is well thank god.

IMO Lock thread!

Me thinks someone needs to learn when they need to keep opinions to themselves :spoton:

IMHO STFU LOL

The thing that sucks in situations like this is, because Con has been tuning these cars longer then anyone in Australia (and I know I can say that with out hesitation) at an average of 3 Turbo'd powered falcons a day, he has the ability to work faster then most others. So automatically people assume they are not getting a custom tune due to Cons fast work. There is only so much you can do with the tune ups in these vehicles people who say they spend on 6 - 7- 8 hours personally there is not that much time that can be spent on a tune up. Trial and error is the biggest problem with people getting it in there heads, that because this guy spent 6 hours and we only spent 1 the 6 hour tune up is better.

Two things...

One... Nice way to slap other tuners like PitLane and Tunehouse who spend 6-8 hours tuning these cars to make the autos, fuel trims, torque etc perfect...

Secondly if a tune can only take an hour or so... What the f*ck is a car doing leaving your shop pinging it's head off after a customer paid for a tune? I'm sure it would have been pinging on the dyne AND if he could hear it in cabin, why was the car allowed to leave? :spoton:

For his sake I hope you do fix it up... Otherwise, if I was him... I know where I'd be shoving my bent rod!!!

no offence C&V but how can you play with a flash tuner with the car not on the dyno then say to the customer "try that"

The customer already knows what we have offered and what the problem is causing the car to do what it has done or is doing, we have offered our services to the best of our ability and have also spoken on the phone with CCCC more then once today and have everything sorted out.

Kind regards

yes cv you do have some great figures and you have been at the top.

So answer this how could a car be sent out like this is it not your place to make sure the tune is right or if there is a fault with the car detune it and inform the customer.

Duty of care comes to mind.

As far as I can see the matter is to be resolved to the satisfaction of the customer.

As everyone "concerned" is happy with this outcome, I don't see any reason for

everybody else to continue pontificating whilst not being privvy to all the conversations and facts
