Definitely need to have the guards heated when rolling... Only do the rears I reckon... I don't know of anyone in Mildura though... Whistler6 has the number of a good guard roller who does it on site... However, I think you may be slightly too far away :stirthepot:

I had my fronts done by a panel shop as it's pretty much impossible to roll them without cracking the paint... They can't use a guard roller as the pressure will just bend the guard... They do it manually... (with a hammer I guess?) I had the guards resprayed when I put on a GT bonnet...

Achilles Tyres run a bridgestone tread pattern... They are asymmetric, so are not noisy like nankangs...

If you could get a good price with staggered 20's and Achilles front and back, I reckon you'd be pretty happy... Especially if driving on traxxions! LOL

Sounds cheap... If that's with 275/30/20 rears and 245/30/20 front...

Tyres are $225 for fronts and $260 for rears from my local tyre shop (motorsport wheels and Tyres... I rang them the other day when the noise of my nankangs was driving me f*cking crazy!)

And rims are $1490 for a staggered set on eBay...

So including Tyres and postage etc... Cheap!

Haired should only be about $50 each at the most, and like wormy said it's better If they do it the old style way with a block and hammer.

worm,

any chance you can post up a pic of how rolled yours are? looking up vertical into the guard, also standing from the rear of the wheel arch, photo of the guards lip where it goes down to the bodykit skirt, This panel on my phoon makes it hard becuase on XR's the bodykit ends at the side skirt, on the phoons, they have ANOTHER piece of kit which goes from sideskirt halfway up the guard till where it starts to "curve" into the shape at the top.

If possible, photo's of anyones "rolling" on the rears would be bloody magic. Thanks!

Where this other bit of kit ends is a problem, becuase you cant roll the guards right down to the skirt, I cant roll past the top of this panel as its got a screw in the top for the bodykit to on. :bangcomputer: :bangcomputer:

I knew I shoulda bought a triton and put 35' MT's on :surrenderwave:

You only need to roll from were the bodykit starts up wards, sort op tapering it so it's pretty tight at the top.
