I'm down to the last thing before I take it back to my tuner.I'm wanting to change the o2 sensor. As my car is a BF it has two o2 sensors, however the rear one (after the cat) has been switched off in the tune as it kept on acting up.Are both the o2 sensors the same?Does anyone haven part numbers for original and/or repco type replacements? Many thanks.J. MRO Member 36 Member For: 17y 3m 15d Posted 16/12/10 07:37 AM Share Posted 16/12/10 07:37 AM I bought one from the ebay guy for $69. Purchased one through my tuner at discount price of $189 so ebay is a bargain. My o2 change fixed the rough idle and stalling as well as improving economy by about 50km per tank. The problem was intermitten but slowly became more consisten. The black unburnt fuel spec marks on my bumper and very black exhaust were symptoms of the problem. Unfortunately mine has started doing this again after only 6 months on the new o2 sensor hence the reason for the recent ebay purchase. I'm working with my tuner now to fix the problem. It this the same problem as you are having Jman Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/72214-o2-sensors/#findComment-1064272 Share on other sites

Thanks for the info guys.Nah my problem is more so power related. - Right in the midrange my car has intermittant flat spots where boost just dies for no particular reason. I drove the car with the low boost tune in the other day and it was a joke asto how flat it is. Boost doesnt come on like a tone of bricks... it gradually comes on which sh*ts me to tears. It probably won't fix the issue however it's worth a try.Economy I've found has drastically gone downhill ever since the surgetank and 2nd pump went in but I'd assume that's all relative. Considering the other one fits both BA/BF this one should fit shouldn't it?
