Guest rabbit Guests Posted 10/11/03 11:58 PM Share Posted 10/11/03 11:58 PM Cro, I didn't know you had to run in the tranny too. Is there a method to doing this? Or is it like running in the motor?

Particularly noticeable when cold - probably coz the tickover is higher.Whats the point of making sure the Hanbrake is on - your foots on the brakes anyway! Not really good enough

Took it in and the bolted the old one off and had to put the new one on. They first tried to blame the driver from going to 1st from 4th. We said politely "I dont think so" it has since been returned with no probs. Still wouldnt say what was wrong and how it happend. Might have been a dud. The one before it we did 67,000 and they were very hard k's without a miss of a beat. Red Line is better than flat line, atleast your still alive.
