My box held 315rwkw-370rwkw for 2.5 years before it needed a freshen up. And even then, it was well under $100 in parts. I never boot it unless I've selected the gear I want first and OD never gets much of a workout. This was without a trans cooler using a non-synthetic oil

RVO in Dandenong built it BTW. Was about 3k.

They are weak and who wants to drive like that? I know I dont want to be holding off between gear changes and fourth is weakest may as well be a 3 speed...

Enjoy your 3 speed. But there are other 4 speeds available that will hold 800-1000hp. There's a Jatco (can't remember the model) and the 4l60/65.

If I wanted to go old-school, a glide would be on the cards. Perfect for our heavy, torque monster cars.
