With the dual fuel (Orbital Liquid) system and modified exhaust the same issue seems to have become more prominent. If only Ford would have a fix for this because, AFAIK we are powerless to do anything about it. I don't even think it is possible to fix it with a tune. Then again, I may be wrong. Good to hear I am not the only one. It seems to me the car is dumping loads of fuel into the engine at start up (unburnt fuel smell) to the point where the engine cannot run properly. YOZ-F6 Member 96 Member For: 14y 3m 6d Gender: Male Location: Perth, WA Posted 09/04/11 01:51 AM Share Posted 09/04/11 01:51 AM As I'm to understand, most of the posts from this topic are from the east coast? haven't you guys got ethanol in your premium fuel to boost the octane in it? we over here in the perth don't have easy access to ethanol fuel, so perhaps that coupled with the colder temperatures are causing some sort of fuel/air mixture issues? plus when I get my car tuned, the tuner said that at initial startup, it will run lean, and now its getting colder here, I've noticed it too, when it starts up it actually stalled once, but that's normal! after it warms up... its all good!!
