I seen the nitro one on the Fowles website...the cop F6 cars look hot...though it would have been connected to the Taipan operation hence they work all over the place rather than one specific LAC...the Nitro one I have seen anywhere from Parramatta to Botany Bay...nice buy mate I might consider one when the next batch of ex Taipan F6's go to auction...You can see photos of the car while it was commisioned on this link if you're interested...

Hi boost, this my one is rego BA97SA it was with traffic services. The one with 65k was a taipan or raptor car. It's rego is BA93SA After doing some digging it seemed that the car I bought was a better car despite the k's

I have the serial numbers at work, so I don't know which car the one in the pic is, there are only 11 F6's in the fleet, so there can't be too many nitro ones!

TurboTaxi its a great car regradless...if you're keen to find out more about its history you can ring NSW Police Fleet Services and quote the serial number (usually located on the under side of the boot lid or inside drivers door) and they can give you a more definitive history on the car...they will also tell you that the Highway cars have a much more stringent servicing schedule up and beyond the standard Ford servicing schedule...(they service their cars much more frequently and do much more like change the diff oil etc...)

Thanks Robo

OK so I picked it up in Narromine this morning and drove it home (albeit with the kids)

Performance is good, as expected, it will take me some time to get used to how best to roll on and off the torque without wringing its neck.

Under full acceleration it is quicker than both my AU Turbo and the BA MK2 Turbo. so we are off to a good start.

Hey TURBOTAXI,

I have been a long time follower from your boosted AU days via FordForums and am very pleased to that you have followed your interest onto the B series and now the FG series! I'm very surprised and a bit very jealous you got your FPV FG F6 310 for such a great deal! Where are you planning to get LPG installed? I am looking to get JTG Liquid Injection as from your comments regarding modern Liquid Injected systems here and on another Ford Forum assure me that it is the best system for turbo 6s wanting to run LPG without compromising performance and reliability. I am lucky to be situated very near APS in Frankston and will be looking to book my car in sometime soon.

All the best with your F6, looking forward to seeing some updated pics!

Cheers!
