Posted 06/12/10 11:57 AM Share Posted 06/12/10 11:57 AM hay all just wondering if any one has gone ane got a exhaust up grade on there g6e turbo. Heard if you go from turbo back you need a up graded feul pump and at least 80 pound injecters. Is this the go or is there a better way of going about it. All repleys would be great. Want the extra power and the note as well.

Your turbo wont handle much more than 330rwkw without changing to the F6 turbo so the exhaust at your point is a waste of money, but a cat change could be good or punch your out even. The search button is your friend here... You don't need bigger injectors or a fuel pump to do this as the car can be safely tuned to the limit with exhaust only mods. You should be able to see around 270ish rwkw on standard injectors. If you want to go the next stage then injectors will be required. The fuel pump will be good for plenty more power. I'm still running my factory fuel pump.Benny

I had standard exhaust and with all my xtras maxed the turbo at around 330rkw. I got full zorst system (xforce 3.5') and only gained a minumal xtra. Unless your thinking of changing the turbo at a later stage, spend money elsewhere as zorst doesnt need to be done. that's my 2 cents worth anyway. I am in the same boat at the moment, don't care for more power at the moment just want some noise, not overly loud. Do not like the odd sound made from dropping the centre muffler...
