It's funny cause both engines Turbo'd have a very distinctive sound. It's probably got a dirty big cannon on it and that's why it sounds weird.

Also sounds like it's only making boost from like 6 grand roflmbo.gif But you can't argue with results.

Yeah, I am sure they do!

A lot heavier car than a skyline though that doesn't handle likle a R33 without big $$ on suspension mods, and even then its several hudred kg heavier, so why not do this transplant and have the best of both worlds?

Plus if you have already spent money on driveline, brake and suspension upgrades, why start from scratch when you can just plonk the engine you want into a much lighter better handling car that you already own? The RB engines don't have anything like the torque curve of our 4.0 T so I can see the point!

You will need to spend more time and money sorting out the suspension if you actually want it to handle as I'm expecting the XR engine and box to be a fair bit heavier than the standard rb20. but the end result should be more than worth it.
