Adam Here since the start... Lifetime Members 10,282 Member For: 22y 8d Gender: Male Location: Victoria Posted 05/01/04 10:48 PM Share Posted 05/01/04 10:48 PM I fear that the current GT/GT-P will suffer badly for resale in a few years, due to the continuing development of these vehicles. The FPV vehicles are brand new, there development has only just started and I think that they will go forward in leaps and bounds in the next few years, take the HSV's for example it wasn't that long ago that the clubbie had 225kw, now she's packin 285. Or take the T series cars you buy one with the 220kw engine only to find the same engine dropped into the XR8 at the next series upgrade. And the horsepower war has never been hotter, it's going to keep getting hotter.Just my 2 cents. My wife demanded a Focus if I was keping the T and buying a GT-P, fine by me a decent exhaust system on the GT, a little gumption on the pedal, and I won't have to listen to her gibber while I drive. A few hard runs in the T has scared her out of it now. Ahhhhhh a 350kW, 245kph refuge, what ore could a man ask for. Looking forward to the GT-P though :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/7200-from-t-to-gt-or-gt-p/page/3/#findComment-80025 Share on other sites
