Yep, I have done the same to my Cortina alla showcar. But knowing my luck

Ford may deem it non-factory and will not warranty the front guards if they fall off!!!!

Do you find the colour is a different shade to the exterior as mine is? I believe they do not apply the final colour coat. But they still look great.

The reason for the different shade in colour is because the engine bays are painted with tinted undercoat,not the normal body paint.

I asked on Monday at the dealer to make sure my engine bay gets coated. He told me that all dealers received an email last month informing them that all engine bays would be colour coded from then on.

October 03 build, got it yesterday, the engine bay is sprayed blueprint. looks good :thumbsup:
