Sorry, didn't read the first post properly.

The 850lb coils are ok for the track, but the 30mm is probably too rigid when working with the coils. You may find a combination of 27mm bar and better alignment settings may work for you

Fulcrum suspensions have workshops all over brisbane, I'm sure you could find one that will be able to help you out.

Its definitely something to try - suspension is a big game of trial and error, there is no "silver bullet" as such.

Give it a go and tell us how you find the changes

very hard to assess this on different tyres.first thing, get another set of R888s.

Agree with Pat, piss off the 30mm front bar.....850lb/in springs will give you plenty of roll resistance. go back to 27mm, and even try the stock front sway too. I'd want some toe out front just a touch at the front to aid turn in.

Apes or Pat do you know what these FG HD rear spring rates are?

What works on the track can be a real pain in the ass on the road.

I like toe out on the track. But I have a sedan and can match the rear to suit. Toe out on the road is just plain painful. Specially here in QLD where we have so much off camber in the road to clear the surface water. As you know 20mm an hour is comen and 100mm a day happens a dozen times a year.

If they get 20mm an hour of rain down south the road will be flooded for days.

Getting as much weight out of the front as you can is a good thing. The clubman track at QR is never going to let you use your greatest asset. POWER

Are you sure the front springs are 850lb/in?????

That would have to make them over DOUBLE the rate of the std springs. That's a damn stiff spring for these cars with the "leverage ratio" of the front suspension and the tyre widths the guards allow. Even a 50-60lb/in rate change is definitely noticeable in these cars.

And significantly more spring rate in roll with the 30mm bar.....that must be close to suspension "lockout"? I'm not surprised you have understeer if those items are what is fitted. Locking the suspension out to solve the outside edge tyre wear is not the fix....pivot geometry change is what is required for that.

What is bump compliance like?

What is the pattern of tyre response/grip for each lap over the run?

More spring and bar does not equal better lap times.

An old golden rule of suspension setup is that we want the softest suspension that will do the job.

Hi,

They are diffently 850lb springs in the front..

I dont know what bump compliance is can you please explain???

Yes it does not feel good with the 30mm front bar at the springs up front. Need to get it sorted your opinion is valued. Thanks

Install a rear swaybar, it will reduce understeer and/or reduce the size of the front swaybar.

I will not be installing a rear bar from all the information I have read due to unsettling the rear of the car. 520rwhp is a handful with current setting I do not want to be drifting around corners costing time. Reducing the front bar is a consideration however.
