They come off easily. Just something to keep in mind...

DeKay Member 18 Member For: 14y 3m 7d Gender: Male Posted 05/12/10 03:16 AM Share Posted 05/12/10 03:16 AM (edited) I reckon you should try calling up a few wreckers and locate a replacement door matching to your paint colour, probably work out cheaper than a panel beater and full respray. Then you can remove the stickers and it wont look any different.. unfortunately FGs arnt like AU/BA-BF doors so it wont be as easy. In the mean time, grab some cut and polish buff out the scratch as best as you can and apply some touch up paint (assuming not much of the paint has gone).A similar thing happened to my xt a few months ago, driving along Victoria pde in the city and heard a loud bang at the side of my door (rear left door). I pulled over 30 meters down the road to inspect the damage and found 2 large scratches down the side of my door, very slight dint but some paint was taken with it too.. I'm guessing either it was some construction worker (I saw some road works down the road) hit my door with a pole or something or a car parked next to a curb side swiped me with their door.. but I have no idea, as no one was around to admit fault. I took it on the chin and just cut and polish/touched it up with paint.. not very noticeable.. just waiting to find a spare door to replace. I just got my xr6 50th t and that's really every new car owner's worst nightmare and major PITAI'd try to get the car repaired close to the condition when I first bought it that way if you ever sell it, they won't ask what happened to the sticker which will lead to questions about the repair work but totally up to you I'd try ring the dealership you bought it from and try to get the sticker
