The first few shifts each morning I take deliberately slow - sometimes even double clutching! You will find that once the car warms up everything will be fine. If not then you have a problem. When I had my BA F6 with T56 gearbox it was very much the same. I had Mainlube gearbox oil put in and a lot of the bearing rollover sound disappeared and the gear changes were much smoother. I haven't bothered with the FG so far. It really is amazing that manufacturers use the sh*tiest oil possible when they build a car (Ford?).
