I got the nos brand v8 universal wet system,cost around $800 but theres a couple of little extras you will need.

such as a bottle pressure gauge,purge kit and possibly a bottle heater!!

I fitted it myself which if your half handy with a spanner would be a piece of cake!!

the kit comes with 75,100,125 shots,I just wanted to see how a 100hp shot goes first then ill go from there.

all in all its cheap horsepower aslong as your dont get greedy and abide by a few little rules its safe stuff,dions the expert ive checked his old ute many times!!gave me too many ideas.

I bought it from rocket ind.

was keen to take it out last week,but the weather has been terrible!!would like to do a couple of easy runs just to see where its at!!

eventually ill be running 26x9 mt as the utes too low for 28x9!!

but for a laugh ill prob have one go on mt radials though I dont expect the result to be too impressive!

hey ben,

went out on wed nite pretty sure I broke the convertor 1st run,as its been playing up the last mth!!

now I cant even get the revs over 3000rpm driving normally and its making a pretty ordinary noise coming from that part of the tranny.

gilroys said 2 weeks ago that it sound like a bent fin and with the nitrous I think that killed it.

I ran a 13.6 @129mph it just wasnt pulling very hard!

im not sure who gilroys use for their converters but tce seem the way to go!! what convertor are you running in your c4??

Was a bad night, Lee. Boges` mate in that mental Silvia broke a drive shaft, I was behind him when he did his burnout, was a single spinner affair which knowing its a Cusco 2 way diff kind of surprised me. Then it became obvious during the run something was amiss.

I lined up against Boges, during the burnout it revs dropped in second, then on the launch it blipped and I shifted into 2nd out of reflex like a goose.. Then it really started to motor in second and fluctuated again, 3rd gear it died completely and I coasted in 3rd with no go at all from just before half track.. lolz at it still doing 12.88!

Second run it launched and died and I had this fast idle miss and no power at all, half track 2 of the trackies pulled the wall open for me and I escaped with what little dignity I had left..

I shut the car off and restarted and it was all good.

I`m guessing its a torque limit or TB issue. I did some awesome skids on the voyage home out spite so it`s an issue that's there to be solved.

Groan next time maybe? I might get my tailshaft done before I go out though..
