don't know about that. You can legally have headlight covers on which are painted black and they are legal as long as the indicator is visible and you take them off at night. In Qld anyways

LOL. it depends which cop mate. I can hear you conversation now: "I'm gonna give you a defect for partially covered headlights". "but they are legal sir...see? I can take them off!".... (30 secs of silence)

"there! nothing on my headlights to defect".

"fair enough- now about that ride height, rim diameter, and pop the bonnet son....."

dont tell a noob who might be reading that it is 'legal'. nothing we do to our cars is.....
