Howdy guys, im looking for an aftermarket exhaust manifold for a ba/bf turbo/ tornado that keeps the turbo in its original position so I can still use the

dump pipe I have...

I have the standard log type ford manifold.

is it possible to get an aftermarket exhaust manifold that im able to use my nizpro 4" dump pipe?

who does them and how much?

I didn't think anyone made them.

I contacted 6boost, ETM and a few other suppliers a few years ago. None were interested in making a set for me.

Persisted to get ETM to make a set as an R&D exercise. After the 1st set had another made to a different piping design to suit a larger compressor cover.

Unfortunately both sets have cracked, and are off the cars currently.

There is a definite lack of space to fit them, tight bends are required, which is why the conventional solution/path is to a high mount design.

is there much difrence between the standard exhaust manifold and an aftermarket manifold in the stock position on a ba/f turbo, 1200 would seem a bit much if there wasnt results?

Unfortunately both sets have cracked, and are off the cars currently.

Inadequate material spec IMO rather than quality of workmanship.

Steam pipe/weld els (I'm presuming) way, way above their max temp rating........Weld els are only good to about 650 degrees C sustained operating temp.

Their metal properties/spec chart worth a read.
