Twinpiston Member 133 Member For: 18y 6m Gender: Male Location: Brisvegas Posted 25/11/10 01:10 AM Share Posted 25/11/10 01:10 AM Hey all,Just booked the car into Hiro to get tuned next Wednesday in the morning.Car is having a 45k service on Monday so will be nice and fresh (having new fuel filter, brake, coolant and power steering flush) Along with a set of NGK platinums and a 82degree thermostat to go in.Car has already got debung, K&N filter and F6 snorkel. Twinpiston Member 133 Member For: 18y 6m Gender: Male Location: Brisvegas Posted 12/12/10 08:07 PM Author Share Posted 12/12/10 08:07 PM Sorry all, just thought that nobody was interested here so just updated the fordforums post....We ran a base line of 165awkw 340NM at just under 6psi.Then after about 2 hours up and down the dyno (with some serious intercooler heat soak) it managed....208awkw 440NM at 10psi.From memory this is about 10 - 20 down on a few here but different dynos, states and conditions.The tuner was Clinton from Profile TuningSo working on the 8% down rule this dyno has proven, from a literal hour to hour dyno run of the same large horsepower car on two other dynos in the area, my car ran 179.1 before and 224.9 after, which is about the same as other TT's and TTG's that have seen just tune alone Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This one now obviously has more power, but I haven't really checked the economy, although, I have just filled up again, and the average fuel was down about 1.7l/100ks (20 to 18.3l/100, I live in a very hilly area and my wife drives to and from the shops/kindy which are only 3 ks away)I am planning a quick trip down the coast early in the new year so will see the economy on an extended trip Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
