Krash,

That sounds like the guy I'm thinking of.

He wanted to buy my XY GT Replica a few months ago, his method of doing business is somewhat shonky!!!

Needless to say I didn't sell it to him.

Cheers, Bazza.

I found the guys out at Gregory's to be OK.

McGrath Woden never called me to arrange test drive of XRT.

Besides all the dealers in Canberra seemed to push the sale unlike the couple of dealers I visited in Sydney.

Gregorys were nice. Ended up getting thre car from John McGRATH's in Belconnen (through the lease company). Absolutely appaling service. They lied to me and acted like 'snake oil' salesmen/women the whole time. Tried to talk me out of the lease saying they could do me a better deal on the trade which was an out and out lie. The only reason they wanted the trade option was because my lease company got a $4500 discount on the car which is profit margin they miss out on.

Wouldnt trust them as far as I could push this computer with my d**k !!

I found Gregorys to be OK, just the salesman didn't have any product knowledge. The service area seems pretty good. I've heard a lot of bad stories about John McGrath (both branches).

Although I had to wait around for a while in Braddon, the service was good. In the end they couldn't come close to the trade in price I wanted. (A grand or so below what I had been quoted by another dealer.) I have never had much luck with Woden they never seemed to be interested in giving me the time of day, let alone selling me a car.

I got mine from Woden.

The B@$tards at Gragorys could not be bothered returning my calls after they discovered I was a fleet buyer.

I would not send my mother in law there.

I found McGraths at Woden to be excelent.

However I have been snooping at new cars and colours since and found the Belconen sales folk to be somewhat ill informed.

My gf bought her Ka from gregory's Braddon. Apart from the sloth that crawls out from behind its log when you're signing up to try and sell you all that paint/fabric protection crap, we found there service to be quite good.

Hi

Ive sold my camaro and am fully cashed up, any recommendations for which Canberra dealer to go to? How much should I expect to haggle the price down at this time of year if I pay cash?

Belco - McGrath Ford's service area looks very basic, doesnt even appear to be fully enclosed?!

Civic - Gregorys - they seem the biggest, perhaps they can offer the best deal?

COmments anyone?
