A Site Manager , a Car and a Mattress

A Site Manager ran over an innerspring mattress on the highway,

and decided not to worry -- and kept on driving.

It caught on the undercarriage of the Ford.

The ensuing jumble finally whipped around enough

to tear a hole in the fuel tank.

The subsequent lack of fuel is what finally

brought the vehicle to its knees.

She had managed to drive 30 miles,

with a 60 pound tangle of stuff wrapped around the drive shaft.

Site manager had it towed to a Ford dealership, and complained

that the vehicle had a 'sort of a noise'

when it was driving at high speeds.

Attached are three photos of what they

found at the Ford Dealership....................

The last photo is by far the best.

"Sort of a noise" -- I'll bet it did!

Read this one a while ago in an email...I guess I don't have to worry about a bit of rope getting wrapped around anything under there if I drive over some!
