Hey guys, as you've probably read I'm getting a turbo territory, and am wondering...

If it get one and put a set of 20's on it with a slightly lower profile than recommended. Probably a 245/40/20 (I think from memory) on it, can I get my speedo re-calibrated on an all wheel dyno, and if so, will it require a flash tuner, and a tune, thus voiding my warranty?

I would love to slug a set of 22's on it, but think towing on 22's is gonna destroy the rear tyres.

Cheers.

Ford can re calibrate the speedo, so I guess a tuner with a scan tool and a dyno could do it without a tune?

Now if your mrs isn't reading,'tell her you need the tune to have an accurate speedo as your licence is very important. More important than warranty.

The speedo on these cars are 7kmph out on the high side on the standard 18s as per my Navman. My Brother just put a set of 20s on his car and as per his Navman it is perfect now.

Hope this helps.

Ours wasn't that far out, but is just about spot on now with 275/40/20's.
