so the front can be sorted, but what's the fix for the rear? Again seems to be an issue right through the models, R&D doesn't exist at Ford?

Rears??? Keep TC on and easy on the right pedal especially in corners :)

Are you getting uneven wear on the rears too? Is the car lowered?

car is dead stock, hard to say if rears are also giving issues, tyres are warn but I'm sure they have been swaped back to front at least once before.

Yeah I leave DCS on, if find it makes me worse though, allowing for single accerator setting (ie flat) for quick intersection exits and the like haha.

Just take it to a good suspension place to check all the bushes and if they are good get a proper alignment done and should be good. Just mention you have bad tyre wear and they should know what to do from there.

But careful with wheel alignment places, there are a lot that don't have a clue...

Replacing the lower inner control arm bushes on the B-Series makes a huge difference to tyre wear.

Te standard lower inners are very soft from the factory - they are rubber with a gel centre (kinda like doughnuts at the servo!). They are great for reducing NVH levels and giving a comfortable ride, but rubbish for any sort of performance.

Under braking the rubber flexes and the arms can move out up to 10-15mm each side - this in turn creates a Toe out effect, wearing tyres and causing the tram-lining effect you feel on rutted roads.

Alignment can reduce this by starting off with a toe-in static setting of around +2, that way once under way and with some braking the toe out and tram-lining effect will be reduced.

Replaced my factory lower inner control arm bushes with aftermarket items and it got rid of my previous slight (nothing as bad as pictured above) inner wear issue.

Also much better from a driving perspective, steering is more responsive and tighter for lack of a better word, although I cannot say this is based on only the lower inner bushes as I had the ute lowered and upgraded to a 27mm front swaybar at the same time - probably a combination of all 3 components.

See he sounds like he knows what he's talking about, just find one of him in Brisbane and you'll be all good...

Fulcrum are in Bris. If you want a decent suspension place. Their workshop is over at Browns plains, I think. Head office was in Marooka.

Replacing the bushes with poly is the way to go. May as well do the radial while your in there. Specially if you are going to lower your car. Are your dampers stock?? They will be stuffed by now too.

I run 40F 38R with a 30 profile. Best I have got was 18,000 out of my Goodyears. But mine does a few laps at least once a month. Hoping the Kumho's give me a few more as they don't stick near as well as the Goodyears.

Camber/Castor kits are great if you are doing track days. But you shouln't need one for the road. You should get 2 - 2.5 neg stock. unless your scraping the ground that should be enough with some toe in it to track strait.Pretty sure I run 1mmF 1.5mm R. Or that's what they told me it was at last tire change. Sounded good so I left it at that anyway. lol
