oil pump gears fail easily with our cars over 340rwkw in manuals. Dont hear many issues in autos.

the limiter is the limiter on whatever car.... sitting bouncing on it will not do the car any good and I know they dont rev(they're not designed to rev like a type R ) that hard hence why their power is all from 1800-4200ish....no need to go past 4700 to catch decent revs in next gear so why bounce it off the limiter where the valvetrain especially cops a flogging !??

Since these autos are so good the V8 supercars should start using them. They rev pretty high for a 4L 6.

tghe low revving grunty setup is one of the reasons I bought it ! the v8 wasnt making power to 4K revs and up ! this thing is in full song way before 4k ! awsome !

dunno what your on about my car makes peak power at 5200

what I am on about is IF your car makes all its power before 4500, why rev to limiter where power has significantly dropped off as the stock map does ! (unless mapped by tuner ) ? If yours makes peak at 5200 has it been mapped ? what car is it ? FG (original posters car ?) makes all its grunt from 1800-4200ish so no need to rev the tits out of it ! pretty obvious ?
