In the fg xr6 turbos, first gear seams to go real quick till second comes around when ya got your foot flat to the floor and iv missed the odd shift now and again in semi auto mode. As a result iv hit the rev limiter and bounced off it, not for long just to the point where u feel that suden loss of power and you go o c**p I havnt changed gears quick enough. Does this typically hurt the car at all or is that wat the rev limit is designed to do. Save the cars arse lol. Let me know. I havnt done it often but was just keen to know if its damaging my car everyti,e iv done it. Cheers guys

I honestly dont know how some people break em though, I hit the limiter sh*t loads and I went to a drift day last week. 500whp manual bf ute and sometimes hits 7k haha. u could get a balancer from atomic which would help heaps 2. I owned a BA mk2 Xr6t ute in mandarine orange and it was an awesome car, but these fg turbos just seem to take it just that much further its unreal. Iv owned ef's, El's, b series and honestly, ford have taken the awesome b series falcon, and made one hell of a weapon for under 45 grand. and with that 6 speed auto, how can u go wrong, manual just doesnt cut it after drivin the zf. Anyways on the note of the rev limiter, its only happend maybe 5 or 6 times to me in first and twice in second gear, so I hopefully havnt done much to it, but bloody hell, bause of the torque, u shore know it when ya hit it, its like a god damn WALL hahahaCheers fellas and awesome forum its Fantastic. always answers my questions.
