I want to see FPV about updating it in my FG F6 ute.... "apparently" its about $560 for a factory update. that was his first call. im waiting for him to call back. he did say that there may be a non factory way to uupdate it aswell.im also trying to find out how the live traffic updates work and what u need for it. there would have to be some sort of sim card to connect to the net for it. It does not seem to have any maps loaded but would like to get it working. I take it the whereis map update is just an update and wont work from having no map. turbotrana Member 2,586 Member For: 21y 7m 10d Gender: Male Posted 22/03/12 01:27 AM Share Posted 22/03/12 01:27 AM My problem was the SD card was not clicked in properly.Just found this guy who does a touch screen sat nav for $1500. I think he gets rid of the original sat nav and replaces it with a new box. So cost is no different whether you have or have no factory sat nav.Krazy Karl, before you start ripping stuff out you better see if its the box where the SD card sits is the problem. If it is you may be better off checking out this guy.www.topendaudio.com
