Basic Mods And Warranty

I'm looking into doing a few minor upgrades to my FG. Along the lines of air intake and hi flow cat.

I know any parts that are aftermarket Ford won't cover that's up to the third part warranty, obviously. But what mods can be done without Ford kicking up a stink? Obviously not touching the engine at all until my warranty is up. But add on things.

Wheres a good place to start. I just want to make it breath better and be more responsive. I'm hearing the XR8 snorkel is a good addon? But there's also stuff like below going around. Are these along the lines, if not better? What would you guys recommend in this department because I'm a bit lost...

As for cat. Hi flow cats are also suggested which aren't too pricey. How about a cat back system. I'm a completely noob when it comes to mods and such. Will a hi flow cat change the exhaust note? I'd like to make it sound a bit better, so I thought a cat back system would be the way to go. What do you guys recommend?

I have searched the forums don't worry, but still a little confused. If people could also tell me how they have gone with mods and warranty that would shed some light. Cheers

I dont know if your over in Sydney but we give a full warranty in replacement of Fords warranty for any mods we carry out,Ford will void your warranty for any upgrades that's why we than cover the warranty for you.
