Hi All,

Just towed today with my new (old) trailer. 8 x 6 trailer and car pulled as if there was no trailer on board. Full Hayman Reece bar with electric brake kit, very easy. Another G6E Turbo triumph.

im looking at towing a 1900kg wakeboat with mine, these suckers are rated for 2300kgs so a bike trailer/8x6 is nothing in the scheme of things haha

I'd like to know how the rear suspension handles that, pls let us know how it goes.

I towed the mates car trailer with a VL commie on it (6spd man BF2 ute in the wet), was fantastic. You could tell it was there but wasnt a major, still could pull away quite quickly and trailer was so well balanced that the rear end hardly dropped which was good since it's lowered. Only issue was a traffic light caused hill start in the wet in rush hour, just imagine a ute with car on trailer behind crabbing up a slight hill. It managed thou.

Hey everyone, we use our G6ET to tow a double horse float, does the job no worries. Only thing is it could probably do with some airshocks but not sure waht that will do to the ride quality.

On a side note I have had a brake kit installed as well and ever since we keep getting 2 warnings comming onthe dash every now and then, even witht the trailer not connected, any ideas anyone? Cheers Turbostig

its not with the std tow hitch but the uprated one, we have a d40 navara for anything masive or long hauls. these are rated @ 2300kgs. the thing you need to think about is ball weight on these sedans.

I would love tornado but 1600kg towing and a pimp g6et is next step.

Hi, I tow a 2000kg ski boat with a G^E Turbo, the transmission and diff ar fine but I have put an LSD from Herrod in which helps. I have also fitted polyairs which pump up and work brilliantly. unfortunately I seem to have blown a turbo, seems to have corroded through, anyone else had this problem, won't know exactly until they pull it apart
