Posted 20/11/10 10:54 AM Author Share Posted 20/11/10 10:54 AM HI Guys,I've purchased a Growler kit on ebay for $455 and waiting for it to arrive. Then on to a basic tune for now. My money is going towards the handling/ grip issues. If I can get more corner speed out of the car, I will. Short of stripping weight from the car I'll just have to add more rubber contact. Tocchi had tried 265 by 18 slicks on the front but I'm looking at 20's so I might be stuck. I just like going around corners quickly and when there are so many speed camera's around it's the only legal challenge left.Handling upgrade advice, anyone? Definitely a contradiction...Your either up for handling / grip improvements, or looks...20's weigh a sh*tload more than stockies or a nice strong, lightweight Jap style racing rim.If your really after handling, you should be looking at Koni / Bilstein / Tein coilovers or at least shocks and springs, replacing your front end bushes with nolathane items, upgrading your swaybars and fitting better compound / slightly wider tyres. Now looking at 20"s again mainly for looks. Plotting 20x9 255/30/20 +36front and 20x10 285/30/20 +40 rear. Big fan of Goodyear F1 assemetrical on my 18"s now unless there is some tips out there.
