I`m getting a minor vibration in the driveline somewhere, when I accelerate and decelerate but it seems to be worse when decelerating... The vibration goes away when I disengage the clutch or put it in neuteral. The problem arose when I replaced the pasenger side rear CV. I have sent the car to a diff specialist and had the cradle removed, the diff dissasembled and totally overhauled, replaced all bearings and reassembled. I`ve also changed the centre bearing and had an on car tailsaft balance done at ford. . . even they sent me home scratching their heads. ANY ADVICE WOULD BE APPRECIATED. the car is a BA with a T56 and option 2 clutch Edited 10/11/10 10:58 AM by dvsboy

dvsboy Member 11 Member For: 16y 7m 28d Posted 19/11/10 03:21 AM Author Share Posted 19/11/10 03:21 AM I put an aftermarket one in first, then swaped it with a second hand factory one that I borrowed for a little while, and I found the vibration didn`t differ. I`m starting to lean towards a clutch bearing now, I`ve gone through absolutley everthing from the gearbox back. . .

dvsboy Member 11 Member For: 16y 7m 28d Posted 21/11/10 01:36 AM Author Share Posted 21/11/10 01:36 AM Yeah thrust bearing was new. . . But after speaking to mal wood he seems to think that I might of damaged the pressure plate on the clutch seeing that I did give it a very hard time. Bullet Member 14 Member For: 15y 5d Posted 28/11/10 03:37 AM Share Posted 28/11/10 03:37 AM My steering wheel vibrated a lot at around 80km/h. I had the wheels balanced, wheel alignment done, put the stock 17's back on and nothing altered it.I had replaced a drive shaft previously (and swapped to a 4.1 diff) and in desperation rotated the tailshaft one bolt hole on the diff flange...Presto vibration gone. It's not hard to do and only takes 10 mins one the car's jacked up.
