sounds like a plan! Tired motor wont help much.

But as always, I bring reality back down to earth.

400rwkw with those mods you say? Can I come to this dyno too? Fuel delivery no worries in ute's? turbo modifications + actuator? no external gate? gl with it all!

id say 340rwkw.

I've done a lot of highway too, probably 30,000kms. At least I can console myself that they aren't urban kms wearing the car out.

You should be all good!

What do you mean by "decent"?

Like a normal service.. Plugs, fuel filter, oil, oil filter etc... Or is it just a oil change in between the 'normal' service?

My cars sitting on 70k and is getting work done to it atm! (see signature below) I get it back friday and hoping for 320-340 rwkws, Cept its a BA so I wont be WOT every single second! just stick to warming her up, cooling her down and do the service every 5k as I do! simple fuel, oil, turbo screen filters, engine oil/coolants etc, and also do my diff and gearbox oil every 10k so once a year 21 keep everything going! hope this helps! im in no way a pro at this sh*t haha but I simply stick what ive been told :):roflmbo:

Mines been modded to above 300+ for 94,000kms, bamk2 ute, and has 101,000kms on it now, and no problem with the engine whatsoever, changing oil every 5000(fully synthetic and plugs every 10-15000, also service the trans twice yearly. So far so good, that's not without saying a good tuner goes a long way in helping it stay together.

Modding a vehicle from 80-110kms, without knowledge of the history of the vehicle/owner and servicing details can be a bit of touch and go.

With an oil cooled turbo, normal isn't normal. Oil cops a pounding because it cools the turbo and is subjected to a lot more heat. I think it's wise to change oil and filter regularly. Every 5000km seems to keep the oil fresh for everyday use. If I could afford it and could be bothered, I'd be going even more regularly. Especially if it saw regular dragging or racing.

Plugs would depend on what type is used I think. I use copper v-grooves and these need changing more regularly. Fuel filters seem to last quite a long time. I've changed mine once in 60,000kms.

Ok cool.. My cars a BA, and is on about 140,000kms on the clock.. It use to see alot of daily driving, but now I have a work car it only sees the road on weekends ( nearly 2 years worth now ). I've slowed down the servicing ( every 10,000kms ) due to this and im older now and rarely drive it hard, just a quick stab from the lights usualy to the speed limit and cruise ( my cruise control would die before anything I reckon lol ) I just added a new intake and cooler, to make the car 'happier' in the summer months... Dont really want to push the power too much anymore due to its age, and im happy where its at power wise anyway..

well I've had my ute since 30000km and in 2 years racked up 80000km on it....

since owning it though my starter motor, alternator, and even battery has all been replaced!!

the timing chain tensioners also sh*t it self so I bought the kit and had the tensioners changed plus timing chain about 2000km ago. I service every 10 000km and have full log book history and when I can try and change oil every 5 in between services

I guess you could say its an everyday driver... but as mentioned driven around Aus a couple times as I used do some work internationally...

my clutch and fly and exhaust got striped and replaced today, injectors tomorrow with growler CAI and then off to the tuners so if all goes well have it back tomorrow night or worse case scenario would be on Friday...

once complete ill update everyone on how it went n the power pulled.
