Hey guys,

This afternoon when traveling from Sydney on the freeway I had what seemed like a ECU crash.

I was cruising along when I felt a jolt from the throttle, looked down to see my speedo stop working, and all dash illumination turn off.

Accessories, radio, windscreen wipers, and the engine all continued to work.

As I was waiting for a area to pull over, all the emergency warning lights came on (after approx 2 - 3 minutes)

This continued for a short while before everything seemed to reboot and come back online (except traction control)

I eventually pulled over, restarted the car and all seemed normal for the remainder of the trip.

I have had a similar incident about a month ago when I started the car to find all emergency lights staying on. This was fixed with another restart and I did not think anything else of it.

Has anyone else had similar incident? Any thoughts as to what it could be?

Thanks

Andrew

Its a 2005 BF Utility, unfortunately out of warranty . Everything in the engine is stock excluding a growler induction kit and turbo smart BOV, both of which have been on for many months.

Was weird, there wasn't really a safe area to immediately pull over, so I was still driving for some time. The engine continued to work as normal, although I was very easy on the throttle.
