eBay is a risk, like this link below; (fg xr6 turbo rebuilt and claims to have all the good stuff and only wants 4200 buy it now..... For a long motor?

FG XR6 Turbo Long Motor (eBay item 200539414896 end time 14-Nov-10 17:16:56 AEDST) : Cars, Bikes, Boats

For all we no it could be just painted and looking pritty, n could be fukd... ( "it was running for 4 hours". Is either a bargain of the yr or a bannana. If its any one from this website, dont meen it's a scam, but have a look itself. ( if it's legit with papers invoice of the rebuild I'd buy today!)

My little brother was looking at a ute on carsales, no contact number so he emailed them with some questions. A few weeks went buy, this ute us still sitting there and whoever put the add has dropped the price $3k. So he calls carsales to ask for thirst number, they say it's a scam and delete it. Anyway, then the ute pops up on eBay, with a bit more info than before. My brother rings up, this time gets through. We go have a look, so the ute is real, but sold the next day.

Anyway then he gets a email back from the carsales add, saying they're out of the county bla bla bla, but he can buy it safely through eBay. They sent him a link to a eBay page that says you pay for the car, then it gets shipped to you, and if after a week you don't like it they will pick the car up and transfer back money. Obviously it was a scam, but I'm sure there are people out there nieve enough to fall for it and think there getting a good deal.

I don't think I could ever hand out a large Ammount of money sight unseen etc. Although I have spent 8k on eBay, but I spent 100 on a plane ticket and went n had a look.
