I would love to buy an f6 but they only have a 1600kg limit and I have a 1900kg boat to tow on the odd occasion and horse float (1800kg loaded) why is it that I cant legally tow 2300kg on the fpv tornado/typhoon etc?? whats stopping me?? want to tow legally of course as if something happened sh*t would hit fan... any help would be awsome....p.s I would only tow on factory tune btw... having a flash tune for the rest of the fun times is an option... coming from a jap 11.8 sec sedan... BCR01 Member 152 Member For: 14y 7m 29d Posted 07/11/10 08:33 PM Share Posted 07/11/10 08:33 PM I checked the FPV sote and the specifications are ......................... "COMING SOON" I would be supprised if they didnt have same towing! A 50th Ann pack is not a bad option, and IMO has a better interior than the F6, with exception of 2 extra gauges. WHats the towing cap of the GS? Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/71491-towing-options-on-xr6t-vs-fpv-models/#findComment-1053823 Share on other sites

Our authorised Ford Dealerships are in the best position to review any enquiries you may have with this vehicle, as they have expertise and facilities available to them through their workshop, and the support of our technical department.I have sent a reply asking one more time for clarity that they have no idea why they are changing towing capacitys when same chassis/ weights etcwill keep you updated Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/71491-towing-options-on-xr6t-vs-fpv-models/#findComment-1054467 Share on other sites
