We have just purchased a 2002 BA TR6. The car has a full service logbook, done 130,000 kms, mainly in Victoria where it will also be the prime area of use. It has been passed by the comprehensive RACV check and all minor faults fixed and has passed the second inspection.

After searching the web re Tranmission coolers, discussing it with experts I'm in a mixed mind over the issue. I drove a BA Fairlane for 3 years in Victoria and had no issues after clocking about 90,000 kms on freeways etc .

On the TR6, at the bottom of the radiator is a circular fin cooling device which appears to be appended to the existing cooling system. See photo attached. Have we any comments, because I cannot see it on the web and examining BA's in the used car yards they only have the two pipes coming across the bottom of the radiator.

Turbo six? :beerchug:

If you don't see the power steering cooler on any others you're looking at it's because they moved it and mounted it up the top where it's hidden by the front bar.
