I have yet to see a sub 13s time slip for a stock R8, and the ones I have seen have been from cars with tunes, intake mods, cams etc etc....I just hope these morons will do the new GT justice and show how much it rapes the GTS and R8s.The thing is to be able to do mid to high 12s in a stock F6, you have to be a drag strip with a sticky surface, adjusting your tire pressures, doing burnouts etc. Magazines don't test that way. They test with standard tyre pressures, usually not doing burnouts, OEM tyres and usually on airport runways where the grip is no way near as good.I'd be very suprised if a stock F6 truly was capable of doing sub 13s in every day conditions out on the street. I prefer the clean lines of the f6. Even the new gt is a bit too much for me.

Arkayne Member 203 Member For: 15y 11m 15d Gender: Male Posted 22/01/11 07:55 AM Share Posted 22/01/11 07:55 AM (edited) ... yet because it doesn't have a pretty little touchscreen that's sure to cause more accidents through driver distraction it's not the best package? And it's not even an adaptive touch screen either. If anyone knows their technology (or google), non-adaptive touch screen means you have to put pressure on the screen for the touch-sensitive pad to work, meaning even more complaints when drivers simply "swipe" the screen as they're going around a round-about to simply get pissed off and stick their finger through it.. lolAnd it's not even that great; 1 cord at $39.95 and you can get the same results on your ipod touch, iphone, or ipad without having to spend $90k on a GTS.. *shrugs* Edited 22/01/11 08:01 AM by Arkayne
