bjc Donating Members 2,823 Member For: 21y 8m 3d Gender: Male Location: Townsville Posted 28/11/10 12:33 AM Share Posted 28/11/10 12:33 AM If its all stock (ie: no tune at all) then this could be either the TPS on its way out (revs bouncing/ engine hunting) or its normal as there was always an inherant problem with low rpm/stalling on the BA series turbo's.In the day (LOL) we used to either just clean the throttle body regularly (lots) with carb cleaner or another small mod was to drill a 0.5-1mm hole in the butterfly to allow the engine to idle that extra 50rpm, this can always be filled with one tac weld if nothing noticable is happening.The only other fix was a tune to raise idle or play with voltage clamps or whatever tuners do Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/71482-ba-xr6-turbo-stalling/page/2/#findComment-1058977 Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mechanic said cuz my car was doing nothing for so long while the engine was stuffed and he said probably had dead cells.
