They feed in from the side and vent out the bottom. They need to see vacum to open so you need to hook up a vacum line to get it too workAre you sure as the B series through to the FG have always been installed like these pics-Which means the BOTTOM of the bypass valve is on the boost pipe side and the side of the bypass valve vents the boost back through the intake again (or air). First pic therefore is back to front or have I had to many beers again and or Ford have screwed up another thing (plus Chris from Rapid as its his pics in the second one)? As per diagram taken from b series manual page 303-04b-4.Boost pressure flows in from the side and out the bottom. Designed and installed this way too allow air to bypass the cooler and associated pipework when the car is cruising in a low load high vacum state.factory bov.bmp

I have had mine on like the rapids photo for 3yrs on my BA. It must work either way then as it still sucks under vacuum and seals under boost then vents once hard (or softish) off the gas with the auto?I'll check the part numbers on both models on the 15th as both ray076 FG xr6t and my BA get tuned that day by blueboost so can check and ask Dave then and report back. But it should be right up near the firewall. A small steel nipple facing upwards. There should be a cap or a blanked off vacuum line on there if no bov was connected before. Its real close to the end of the fuel railSent from Galaxy S using Tapatalk
