Anyone know where to get the metal fpv discs from? I noticed I have one missing and checked the others they basically just fell off. Not stuck on well at all. I asked ford to be told you need to buy new matts. Poor effort considering they come off so easily.

Not mat related but one day when I was 18 I was soldering a shift kit to the ECU of my EF Fairmont ghia without removing the battery. Long story short cruise control engaged full throttle. My car was manual at that time so I just dipped the clutch but it was hitting the limiter so I turned the engine off. Live and learn lol.

The B series XR mats attach via two hooks on the drivers' side. Provided that the hooks are in use this system appears to work properly. I certainly have never had any issues whatsoever. That however is one example. It would be valuable for all to learn if the issues reported above occurred when the hooks are in use.

+1.

With the hooks and mat installed properly, the mat doesn't actually go under the pedal, and the cutouts on the mat help align it properly. I can pull mine up, and it will miss the go pedal. As long as the hooks hold properly!

My Mum, who claims she has never gone over 60km/h, still tells the story of when the throttle cable of the old man's V8 jammed wide open in a busy street. Scary stuff, and wouldn't wish it upon anyone!
