I seriously don't think they care of they lose the sale. Not all of them. But quite a few. Must be paid to high a retainers. Maybe they are use to low sales and comfortable with what they earn.

Seems like with most unless you hand them the sale on a plate they don't want to know you. All too hard.

I love the FG. My local dealer is getting better. But still, going in there is just the pits. Everyone is miserable. No one seems happy with their job or lot in life. And just forget a discount. And if you don't buy off them the warranty dance is just ridiculous.

Anywho come August I am going to have to make my mind up for sure. It will be hard to buy another Ford. Even though I want one. I buy new or demo preferably. And I want service.

G'day all, now I realise this topic was started back when the GS was pretty much the new kid on the block but with the car game pretty well rooted at the moment the GS can be had for nicks you just need to lean on your dealer pretty hard. I just bought a November 2012 build Winter White GS ute for $45K drive away which I dont think is too bad at all! I had the budget to spend around the $55-58K mark and was looking at the current Maloo but I could'nt resist going for the S/C V8 and the untapped potential for tuning because I would have to shell out some decent coin to get a Maloo up to the same KW's as the GS. My mate has a 2012 Maloo which cost him nearly $60K plus another $6K for full exhaust, OTR, cam upgrade and tune for an end result of 352RWKW which aint to shabby but for me the bang for buck the GS offered was to much to pass up......yes, it might not have the bling of the Maloo but I'm happy with that. Each to thier own I guess!

Good choice!

The Maloo along with the GTS has a rather "busy" look at the front which personally I've never liked. The daytime running lights

further diminish the "tough" image of the high performance Holden....just my opinion.

The Expensive Daewoo fans are hoping/praying for some forced induction on the next series HSV Holdens but because of the newly developed 6.2L

it may not happen.

I agree with the previous poster, even stock you car could probably beat the Maloo.
