Carsales suggests only 8k difference - 48990 vs 56990 base manual sedans

Cheapest XR6 Turbo on carsales is a 2010, in QLD, with 5kms for $38985 drive away.

Cheapest GS on carsales is a 2010, in SA, with 200kms for $51481 ($53481 drive away), while the cheapest in QLD is $54990 drive away.

I've rung a few dealers here in qld. Cheapest is60k for a GS with only a few K's. It has leather, but the mono screen ??? Seriously WTF

Well at least there is more and more on the market. Patience Luke, use the force.

They can keep the leather - I'd just want premo sound and better brakes. You see Brembos on ebay from time to time for resonable money. That or I'd go with something else. There is a sleeper no frills quality about this thing that I like. Some do and hate that fact and I get that too. I think we all need to be fair about the quality of the engine compared to the old donk. Yes it's an XR8 with a blower but the engine is brilliant - world class really. Sat beside one during the week - man they sound good. I think best bang for buck second hand going - period.

The mono screen should be pensioned off - period. Holden's new system makes it look like an old NASA computer by comparison. That said, and in the now, if prices stay a few k south of a new F6 (even better value s/hand proportionally) you can bling it up. As much as I love my turbos, If I could get a GS and fit Brembos (or other) for the same coin as a GS, I'd buy it. The leather and especially the 'Raccon eyes' don't do it for me anyway. I do like the FPV rear bar however but the GS makes up for that with quads and the dreamy noise they omit. Being selfish, everyone should keep bagging them to drive resale values south so we can all buy one s/hand. JOKING.

For anyone that interested in pricing of GS utes I paid $53500 D/A business rego in nsw -2010 build ,auto ,has leather, dualzone climate and colour screen/premium sound

Have since fitted 6 spot brembos to front and single caliper upgrade to rear[as per FPV premium brakes on F6 ute]for $3500 [aftermarket]

Also had dealer fit humped hardcover as the tonneau is so awkward for regularly opening and closing

I to thought they were overpriced but needed another vehicle quickly for work reasons-so I did the deal

My dealer said there was not much $ in it for them

Its great to drive with linear power delivery but not as quick as my F6 Rspec[custom tune and injectors -283 rwkw]

Will mod the ute once some more R&D is done by tuners-but 400rwkw sounds awesome.

Dealers always say there are not many $ in it for them. Rest assured, if it didn't suit them, they wouldn't do the deal. I see screwing dealers for price as payback for all the sh*t service they dish out to so many, and all the sales they've cost Ford over the years.
