XR64LT Donating Members 678 Member For: 17y 2m 27d Gender: Male Location: sydney Posted 02/11/10 10:08 AM Share Posted 02/11/10 10:08 AM I have recently started having a problem where at times at high or low speeds my cars' steering will shake violently sending vibrations throughout my whole car. It mainly happens at high speeds 110kph on the motorway and lasts for approximately 1 or 2mins and slowly disappears. It sometimes happens at low speed but more often at high speeds and doesnt happen everyday. Now while this happens ive tried slowly down and it becomes a little scary vibrating alot more, but when I speed up nothing really changes. Ive told my mechanic about this and he seems to think that the tailshaft is out of balance but hes not to sure because it never happens when he takes it for a drive.Any help would be great guysLeo Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
