Not great since its always decreasing in value but understandable since we dont all have 50K spare cash hanging around. Borrowing money for mod's is about the stupidest thing one can do IMO.I know a guy with a subaru. Borrowed 25K or so for the car. Year later he borrow's 10K for mods. All is sweet and he's enjoying life with a nice fast car. Then the box goes and since he doesn't have the cash, he refinances.. Then the engine went and refinanced again. Then with the new power the box went again so then refinances again to pay for a dog box. All up over 40K worth of loans for a car perhaps worth 12K these days. Can not believe how many people think spending 10K in mod's increases the car's value.I try and pay by cash if I can but with more expensive things like tyres, it's just easier to pay with credit card since my daily limit is only $800. IMHO if you have to borrow money to mod your car you cant afford to mod it. Whats plan B is something fails? Borrow more money...??
