XRDamo Member 7 Member For: 14y 3m 15d Gender: Male Posted 01/11/10 02:04 AM Share Posted 01/11/10 02:04 AM I have a ba xr6 n/a. extractors cold air intake and it was running 9.8 1/8 and now after buying a flash tuner x3 it is 10.650 1/8very confusing.the flash tuner is the one with 1 custom tunethe only setting I have changed is 1-2 2-3 gear change pressure to 20% I was going to try advance the timing more ect but I still can't see that improving on the 9.8 time I don't know what to do any info will help The only thing I did differently was put octane boost in it,but I cant see that on its own making that much of a difference.... XRDamo Member 7 Member For: 14y 3m 15d Gender: Male Posted 01/11/10 03:47 AM Author Share Posted 01/11/10 03:47 AM Since the drags I have put more fuel in it and it seems to be picking up a bit more power,won't know for sure if it was just the octane until the next meet,since I put more fuel in it I have slowly advanced the global spark to highest advance and the 0-8000 have all been advanced all the way,I haven't heard any pinging and the car seems to have alot more power then before,is there any chance that having it advanced all the way could damage the motor?
