Fast but linear. There is not as much hard acceleration as you get in WRX sti.If the car has 280 RWKW or so, does it feel different? I know it is faster, but does it come on boost in a different (more violent) waythan stock?

Dude 80rwkws is a fair jump in power doesn't matter what your in!

Alot of difference in the airflow happening with a stock compared to modded vehicle. Also as the guys have said, stock your looking at 5 - 7 psi (depending) compared to 13+ when tuned with the good stuff so double what you'd normally get. Mainly you're going to be making more power and more violently (than stock anyway) but you're also going to be running a sh*tload more torque which will make it feel great !! So yeh it will feel faster. I've owned a STi, a 330awkw EVO and will be in a stock BFMK2 next week and no doubt won’t feel as good. But also been in a 320rwkw XR6T and yeh they go ok lol. scottay Member 366 Member For: 14y 7m 2d Posted 27/10/10 09:28 PM Share Posted 27/10/10 09:28 PM The reason you think its slow is because there is sweet f*ck all turbo lag you have full boost from pretty much anywhere, where as in an sti you plant your foot and you prob wont see full boost till around 4k (1bar) so it FEELS like the car is going faster because of the sudden surge in power. I drove my rodeo around for a week and then got back in the t, planted it, and felt sick. it really is quick, I just forgot until I had a break from it... Even stock it felt good when the tuner was driving it.I'm used to my power now. In contrast, friends who haven't experienced it recently (or at all) are pretty floored. Especially my Monaro owner mate who was massively impressed...but his is stock Edited 28/10/10 04:39 AM by -SteveR-

It felt quick cause boost didn't kick in till late and it gave ya a real kick in the pants when it did kick in hehhe.. But in reality was a piece of sh*t..It's funny, when riding shotgun in my mates SS (stock) I knew my car is faster but was a bit worried lol.. It felt pretty quick.. Then we raced lol Edited 28/10/10 05:11 AM by MiKa

Whent they feel really quick is when they hook up off the line for 2.0sec or less 60ft, then your really stuck in the seat fromOff the line to the top of each gear
