Rust Proofing (Bf Ii)

My 03 BA Turbo is rusting in the battery tray but battery acid will do that! Just used rust convertor with the sealer in it. My old AU coon had the ball joints from the boot struts rusted through in the first 6months of owning the car from brand new so there obviously was a problem with them either originally being rusty before painting and water retaining there maybe?

I'd just buy INOX with the lanolin as that's all we use on the boat motors and boat parts.
