Started Building Our Xr8 Ute

Steve when your aboard an XR, anywhere's good cruising. Going to the shops is no longer a pain. Frequently I find myself floating around the shire looking for absolutley anything to play with but having no real objective. The swmbo says this car uses more fuel than the AU, but it's really just my tootling that's burning it up!!

so far we've made 508hp at the tyres, but I've been really limited to dyno time at the moment(1/2 hour total) as we've been really busy. It driving awesome and is a bit of a handful as the guys down the coast noticed last night, oh and the guy with the supra and all the noise beat ya beat ya

Hi Steve,

Um I was just wondering which supercharger are you running on the ute? I have rang CAPA about their superchargers and was quoted $18,500 for their Vortech v2 intercooled system. This also includes their exhaust system and they said it should be good for about 520rwhp. However, Im very impressed with your own setup as you guys have had far less time to play with. Do you have any idea as to how much your kit will cost compared and what kind of power figures it will give or is that too far off just yet?

We're accutally the wld distributor for capa and we're using a v2 supercharger also, however we don't use their chip as we use our own programmable computer to run the car, give me a yell if you like and I'll work you out a price.
