Bloody expensive weekend for these boys....

More carnage in the two races than the whole series. :icon_ford:

It is nice to see ford in 2-4 at the moment in the last race. They do have some great drivers and when it comes together I think they have it over the holdens. And im not biased I dont care who wins but with the ford cars dropping in numbers it is nice to see.

to be perfectly honest, the time that Oz stopped allowing the cossies, skylines and all FAIR competition, I lost interest and so did the rest of the planet ! its now a sport of two stables...bathurst and the GC indy are all I watch all season..rest is sh*t !

wifes friend (her husband) retired F1 mechanic now in V8's and says they're just fast taxi's ! roflmbo.gif

Boring as bat sh*t. There all just the same car with a different shell anyway. If you want to watch real racing then WRC, Moto GP, Super bikes or even the British Championship are the way to go.

The current V8 Supercars is the fairest racing the category has ever seen.

There's parity between manufacturers and teams.

I don't see how you can make the above statement.

These days I rarely watch V8's. I much prefer what's happening in the F1 championship (although it's sweet FA at the minute).

I have no interest in seeing production class of Falcon's and Commodore's either. They just wouldn't be fast enough.

the last dozen laps or so was unreal, the best racing, a bit of bumping back and forward, just a buggger gears pass didn't stick,

Cheers Dalesy

I also wouldn't be interested in seeing R35 GTR's flog the crap out of Falcon's and Commodore's every race either.

Close racing equals fair racing, and that equals interesting racing.

You're never going to get heaps of passing because the fast cars are at the front and the slow cars are at the back.

I guess they could always go back to reverse grids, but that's just a stupid idea now isn't it?
